World Language Week

World Language Week takes place in March. All three languages present to the school the importance of each language in the U.S. and the world. Students of all three languages decorate the school, label places around the school, and offer special menus in the cafeteria.

World Language Induction Ceremony

The World Language National Honor Societies of Parsippany Hills High School cordially invite parents and friends to the ceremony, which takes place during the third week of May.  New students will be inducted into the Honor Societies provided that they meet the criteria mentioned in the World Language Honor Societies section.   The inductees for each Society will recite their motto during the candle ceremony. In addition, we will present honor cords to our Seniors who have continued their language study maintaining high standards of these societies.

These are the colors for the Societies’ Honor Cords:
-Italian:  Green, white, red
-French:  Blue, white, red
-Spanish:  Red and gold
* -Latin:  purple, gold, purple
        * (Latin is no longer offered by the district)
